Supplies:
Red heart soft white and yellow yarn
H and F hook
 
Abbreviations:
ch=chain
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
hdc=half double crochet
sl st=slip stitch
2sctog=2 single crochet together decrease
 
Blanket
White and Yellow yarn, H hook.
 
Chain 6 and join with a sl st to first ch to form a ring.
rnd 1. Start with White yarn, ch 3, 2 dc in ring, ch 2, (3 dc in ring, ch 2) 3 times, join with a sl st to top of first ch-3.  Fasten off.
rnd 2. Sl st in first ch space, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same space to form corner, (ch 1, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc all in next ch-2 space) 3 times for 3 more corners, ch 1, join with a sl st to top of first ch-3. Fasten off.
rnds 3-4. sl st with Yellow yarn, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same space, work (ch 1, 3 dc) in each ch-1 space along straight edge and (ch 1, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in each ch- 2 space for corner, ch 1, join with a sl st to top of first ch -3. Fasten off.
rnds 5-11. Sl st with White yarn, Repeat round 3 twice with white yarn, and then with yellow yarn twice, Repeat the alternating colors for a Total of 11 rounds or for how big you want your blanket.
Arms: Make 2, F hook, yellow yarn
ch 2, work 5 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sl st
rnd 2: work 2 sc in each sc around, sl st
rnds 3-10: sc in each sc around in continual rounds, no sl st
rnd 11: 2sctog in each sc around, sl st. Fasten off.  Attach the arms by the head after the head is attached to the center of the blanket.
Ears: Make 2, F hook, Yellow yarn, Do Ears the same as Arms above. Attach the Ears on top of the head on both sides.
Muzzle: White yarn, F hook
rnd 1: ch 2, work 5 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sl st
rnd 2: work 2 sc in each sc around, sl st -10 sc
rnd 3: *sc, 2sc in the next sc, *Repeat around, sl st -15 sc
rnd 4: *sc in the next two sc, 2sc in the next sc, *Repeat around, sl st -20 sc
rnds 5-6: *sc in each sc around. *Repeat twice. Stuff the mussle after you sew the nose and sew the mussle in the center bottom of the head.
Nose: chain 5, sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, each sc across, turn -4 sc
row 2: 2sctog decrease twice -2sc
row 3: 2sctog decrease, chain 4, -1 sc. Sew the nose on the center of the muzzle with the chain 4 going toward the bottom of the muzzle.
Eyes: Make 2, white and black yarn, F hook
rnd 1: black yarn, ch 2, work 5 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook. Fasten off. Sew this eye above the muzzle.
2nd Eye
rnd 1: black yarn, ch 2, work 5 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sl st
rnd 2: sl st with white yarn, work 2 sc in each sc around, sl st -10 sc. Sew this eye above the muzzle next to the other eye about 2 inches or so apart.
Head: Yellow yarn, F hook
rnd 1: ch 2, work 5 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sl st
rnd 2: work 2 sc in each sc around, sl st -10 sc
rnd 3: *sc, 2 sc in the next sc, *Repeat around, sl st -15 sc
rnd 4: sc in each sc around, sl st -15 sc
rnd 5: *sc in the next 2 sc, 2 sc, *Repeat around, -20 sc
rnds 6-12: *sc in each sc around, in continual rounds, no sl st. *Repeat around, Start to stuff your head. But Make sure you created all of your features first so you can sew them on head before you close it up.
rnd 13: 2sctog decrease, sc in the next 4 sc, *Repeat around
rnd 14: 2sctog decrease, sc in the next 3 sc, *Repeat around
rnd 15: 2sctog decrease, sc in the next 2 sc, *Repeat around

Take both the two sides together and sew them, but leave the Rows 1: buttom open (the baby's head will go in there)
Take the Blanket the long way on Row 1 of the blanket, go in 38 hdc stitches, and Attach the Hood Face on Row 1, and sew one flap of the hooded face across the blanket in the center, and leave an opening, so only sew one part of the row 1 of the hooded face, but leave the other row 1 of the hood open.
Ears: H hook and Brown yarn
Row 1: chain 8, hdc in the 3rd chain from the hook and hdc in each chain across, Turn - 6 hdc
Row 2: Ch 1, hdc in the same stitch as the chain 1 and hdc in each hdc across, Turn -6 hdc
Row 3: Ch 1, hdc in the same stitch as the chain 1, 2 hdc together decrease, hdc in each hdc across, Turn - 5 hdc

Sew the Ears on both side of the Head, on the side of Row 12 of the Hooded Face.
Eyes: Black, white, and brown yarn, h hook. Make 2
Rnd 1: Work 7 sc in the Magic Circle with Black yarn,
Rnd 2: sl st with White yarn, Ch 3 (Counts as a dc), dc in the same stitch, 2 dc in each sc around, sl st. Fasten off.
The 2nd Eye: Repeat Row and Row 2, but with Brown yarn with Rnd 2. Sew the eyes on the Hooded Face side by side.
Nose: black yarn, h hook
Row 1: chain 6, sc in the 2nd chain from the hook and each chain across, Turn -5 sc
Row 2: sc in each sc across, Turn -5 sc
Row 3: sc, 2 sc together decrease, 2 sc together dcrease, -3 sc
Row 4: sc, 2 sc together decrease, -2 sc
Row 5: 2 sc together, -1 sc

I made this for my 3 year old. I did this in multiples of 8. So I chained 72 with a H hook. Now if you want to Make this for a different size, then make sure its in a multiple 8 and it can fit over the child's head, you can always change the hook size as well.
Rnd 1:  Start with Pink yarn, Chain 72, sl st to join to make a ring. Sc in each chain around. sl st. -72 sc
Rnd 2: Sl st with White yarn, Chain 3 (Counts as a dc), dc in the next two sc, *skip sc, Chain 1, dc in the next 3 sc, *Repeat around, sl st 18(3 dc's)
Rnd 3: Sl st into the chain 1 space, then sl st with Pink yarn, Chain 3 (Counts as a dc), work 2 dc in the same chain 1 space, *Chain 1,  work 3 dc in the next chain 1 space, *Repeat for a total of 9(3 dc's),Chain 1, work 3 dc in the next chain 1 space, chain 1, work 3 dc, (creates an increase, so you have a 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in next chain 1 space after 9( 3 dc's ), **Chain 1, work 3 dc the next chain 1 space, **Repeat for a total of 8 times, chain 1, work 3 dc in the beginning chain 1 space, Chain 1, sl st in the beginning Chain 3 (this will create a 3 dc, chain 1, 3 dc increase in the beginning 3 dc) sl st.
Rnd 4:  Sl st into the chain 1 space, then sl st with White yarn, Chain 3 (Counts as a dc), work 2 dc in the same chain 1 space, *Repeat for a Total of 9(3 dc's), Chain 1, work 3 dc, chain 1, 3 dc in the next chain 1 space (creates an increase), **Chain 1, work 3 dc in the next chain 1 space, **Repeat for a Total of 8(3 dc's), chain 1, work 3 dc, chain 1, in the beginning chain 1 space (creates an increase), sl st
Rnds 5-20:  Sl st into the next chain 1 space, then sl st with Pink yarn, *Repeat Round 3, but alternate with white and pink yarn each round. I did 20 Rounds of Pink and White back and forth, continue until your desired length. Weave in the Ends.
